Hi, I'm Tammy, owner of Horizon Therapy, and we are seeking a mature Master of Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist to be apart of our amazing team of independent contractor psychotherapists!

Requirements:
- Licensed Therapist: Hold a valid license in psychotherapy, or social work.
- Age Range of Therapist: 40 years plus (40 - 70 + years old) *
- Availability: 15 hours a week minimum with a combination of daytime hours, 1-2 evenings a week, and weekend hours (if available).
- In Person Availability: 10 hours In-Person at our office at Avenue Road and St.Clair in Toronto
- Neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ Affirming: Experienced working with clients who identify as ADHD, autistic, and or queer. Comfort working with neurodiverse couples.
- Experience & Compassion: Demonstrated experience in providing therapy services to individuals and couples, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices. A genuine desire to help others and a deep commitment to client-centred care.
- Technology: Has knowledge of or willingness to learn the Jane App.
- Professional Liability Insurance: Minimum $1,000,000 per claim/$3,000,000 Aggregate per year professional liability insurance coverage.
* We are specifically seeking this age range because we receive regular referrals from an organization where their patients fill out a form and check off the age range of therapist they prefer to see, which is 90% of the time 40 yrs plus.
What you'll do:
- Empower Clients: Provide in-person and some online evidence based therapy to individuals, and couples in Toronto, helping them navigate life’s challenges and achieve their personal goals.
- Consultation & Growth: Have access to a wide range of clinical resources to support your practice and growth as a therapist. Monthly professional consultation meetings to debrief, gain support, and connect with others on our team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate timely PHIPA compliant records and documentation in the EHR Horizon Therapy utilizes (Jane App).
