Job Summary:
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, Windsor Casino Limited, the Beverage Supervisor provides leadership and guidance to all Beverage employees.
Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operation.
Trains, develops, orientates, schedules, evaluates and disciplines beverage staff.
Complies with Windsor Casino Limited policies and procedures. Ensures all liquor laws are adhered to and enforced by staff at all times and initiates customer liquor refusals and resolves any customer concerns.
Prepares accurate and concise daily reports of the operation during and at the end of each shift. Conducts pre and post shift meetings with in-coming employees and Supervisors.
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in casino/hospitality environment related to alcohol sales and service, in progressively responsible positions, or experience deemed acceptable by Windsor Casino Limited. Valid Smart Serve certification required. Knowledge of word processing applications, spread-sheeting applications, industry related software applications and e-mail applications. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Equivalent to a Post Secondary Degree or College Diploma in Hospitality Management and/or a related field. Ability to obtain a Gaming Employee License.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS
French language skills considered an asset
Physical Demands:
Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is occasionally required. (i.e. between 1% and 33% of time on the job).
