Scottsdale Dental Centre is an exceptional family dental office in Guelph looking for a full-time Dental Receptionist. Previous dental experience is preferable, but not necessary, a great attitude and strong work ethic are a must!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends! Tuesday and Wednesday evenings until 8:00 PM.

Duties Include (but are not limited to)
- Customer service for patients checking in and out
- Answering the phone and responding to patient inquiries
- Scheduling patients and managing the appointment book using Abeldent
- Accepting payments and processing billing
- Preparing and presenting patient treatment estimates
- Patient treatment coordination and making reminder calls
- Dental insurance coordination and submission of claims
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous dental office experience is preferred, but not required, we will train the right person
- Experience with computer practice management softwares is a strong asset; in-person customer service experience in any healthcare field is also an asset
- Pro-active attitude, friendly demeanor, and a strong team player
- Great work ethic, hard-working, and punctual
- Energetic individual with great interpersonal skills who can provide exceptional patient-centred service
- Warm, personable, and genuinely enjoys working with people
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with computers and technology
