Manufacturing Production Assistant
Sculptural Design Inc. is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Production Assistant to join our growing team in Calgary, AB.

About Us
Sculptural Design Inc. is Alberta’s leading manufacturer of architectural precast concrete. We specialize in custom fireplace surrounds, architectural wall cladding, and high-end concrete features for both residential and commercial spaces.
Our centrally located Calgary facility is equipped with specialized GFRC machinery, enabling us to produce high-quality, custom work for a wide range of projects.
The Role
This is a permanent, full-time position with hands-on training provided. You will work closely with our production team and shop foreman, contributing to both in-shop manufacturing and off-site installations.
This role is well-suited for someone who values precision and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and finish molds for casting
- De-mold, sand, and finish pieces using power tools and sealers
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Assist with residential and commercial installations
- Mix, measure, and cast architectural precast concrete
- Support quality control processes
- Read and interpret shop drawings and plans
- Complete additional tasks as required
Experience in stone or granite installation is an asset. Related experience such as wood finishing or plaster finishing is also highly transferable.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry, construction, general labour, or precast concrete production
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Solid understanding of safe work practices
- Professional and respectful conduct on job sites
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills (required)
- Ability to clearly understand and follow instructions in English
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A reliable, self-motivated work ethic
- Physical capability to perform hands-on production and installation work
Experience in home building, renovation, concrete work, stone, or granite installation is considered an asset.
A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a reliable, registered vehicle are mandatory.
