Belleville's is looking for an experienced and talented evening Sous Chef to help lead our team with the Executive Chef and with guidance from our dedicated management team.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in a high volume kitchen and is passionate about making consistently great food. Multitasking, leadership, organization and cool-headedness are ideal qualities for this role. While Red Seal certification is an asset, we are open to hard-working individuals with the right amount of skills/experience. FoodSafe certification is required.
The Sous Chef will assist with kitchen operation procedures, managing par sheets/prep levels, calling the line & overseeing multiple stations, communicating effectively with expo and FOH, motivating & training staff, assisting with schedule changes, helping to manage labour targets through cuts and task assignments, & other duties as needed. Familiarity with food costing programs, POS system programs, & scheduling is an asset.
