We have an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Machinist.
Talnea Machining & Manufacturing is a well-established, close-tolerance, precision CNC machine shop located in Calgary, Alberta.
We are an exciting, expanding company with a great working and learning environment.
Reporting to the Production Manager; during your typical day in our modern shop, you will be expected to:
· Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC Mills, Lathes, Multi Axis/ Multi Spindle Turning Centers and Swiss type CNC Lathes.
· Ensure proper QC guidelines are being followed.
· Provide and implement continuous improvement ideas.
· Troubleshoot and rectify machining challenges.
· Support upcoming apprentices to be great machinists
The optimal candidate will be an experienced machinist with personal drive and multitasking ability.
Above all, the candidate must have an exceptional eye for detail and the willingness/ability to learn in a high tech, fast paced environment.
Wage will be negotiated based on your experience and contribution to our business.
