Job Opportunity:
We are currently searching for a driven and ambitious licensed heavy duty mechanics who want to take their career to the next level. This position is responsible for field service duties including but not limited to performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service, and repair of various mechanical and electrical control systems. These duties may be performed in the field or in a workshop environment. For more information on the responsibilities and duties of this role please refer to the below:
Responsibilities:
- Always maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor and communication with customers and internal staff.
- Communicating service and other relevant activities to customers and service managers through daily service reports, email and telephone communications.
- Perform running repairs, PM and PdM activities on surface mobile equipment as required.
- Machine audits as required.
- Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for service needs.
- Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with machine operators and customer representatives.
- Providing parts information to customers and suggested stocking guides.
- Other duties as assigned and required to maintain the contract.
- Participate in manufacturers and in house service training.
- Participate in all required Health & Safety Training.
- Comply with the Health & Safety program and practices.
- Always maintain a professional company image.
- Additional task as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Trade certification, Journeyperson Red Seal preferred.
- 3-6 years experience.
- Understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy skills (MS Office).
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with mining equipment.
- Proven and motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision but can take direction.
- Previous work experience should have demonstrated a strong mechanical aptitude and good work ethic.
- Strong team player.
- Experience with operation and management of Service Trucks.
- Valid driver’s license.
Requirements:
- All successful candidates will be required to have a criminal background check.
- Pre-employment medical.
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Work rotation 2x2 schedule.
- Permanent position.
- Start date to be determined.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
