Job Summary
The Rental Attendant is responsible for fitting guests with rental equipment, explaining its safe operation, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the rental experience. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, outgoing, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Scheduled days off: Friday through Sunday.
Duties May Include
- Greeting guests and providing friendly, professional customer service
- Fitting guests with bikes, e-bikes,and other rental equipment
- Explaining the safe operation and proper use of rental equipment
- Completing thorough inspections of all equipment before departure and upon return
- Providing trail recommendations, route information, and local knowledge about Banff and the surrounding area
- Handling guest concerns professionally and escalating issues to a supervisor when required
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the rental shop and train station
- Charging, storing, and maintaining rental equipment
- Following all company policies, sanitation procedures, and health and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with teammates to provide an exceptional guest experience
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual and reliable
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Available to work weekdays, evenings, and holidays as required
- Able to follow company policies, appearance standards, and uniform requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable using phones and point-of-sale systems
