Support Worker
Passionate about providing compassionate care? Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17.
This role requires an open and flexible individual willing to work closely with a family in need.
May include Day shifts, evening, weekend, and overnight care in the family's home.
Candidates must have experience working with teens facing mental health challenges, including high-risk situations, trauma-informed care, and effective support strategies.
Additionally, staff should be engaging, fun, attentive, and able to stay off electronics during their shifts. This is not a position for someone who sits back and observes; you must be proactive and actively involved in supporting this child.
Responsibilities:

Provide respite care and support with daily activities

Administer medications as instructed

Prepare meals meeting dietary needs

Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes

Offer companionship and plan engaging activities

Perform light housekeeping
Qualifications:

Experience in caregiving

Knowledge of medication procedures

Physical ability to lift and assist

Strong communication and caring attitude

Requirements:

Valid First Aid

Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check

CFS Intervention Check
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
