Gradesperson / Construction Labourer
We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Gradesperson / Construction Labourer to join our growing civil construction team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on civil construction sites and be comfortable assisting with grading, site preparation, underground utility work, and general labour duties. Experience operating heavy equipment is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist with grading and site preparation
- Perform general construction labour duties
- Work alongside operators, foremen, and site crews
- Install and maintain grade stakes and elevations
- Shovelling, raking, and cleanup as required
- Assist with underground utility and roadwork projects
- Operate small equipment and tools safely
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Class 5 driver's licence required
- Previous civil construction experience preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a strong asset
- Valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to work well within a team environment
