Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, dedicated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant and / or Front-Shop Cashier to join our team. This role involves supporting pharmacists and other staff members in preparing medications, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. Duties
- Process customer payments, operate the cash register, and provide frontline customer service
- Assist pharmacists and other team members in preparing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent patient care through in-person and telephone interactions
- Enter and maintain accurate records of patient interactions and prescription information in computer software programs
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards related to medication handling
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and ordering medications and supplies as needed.
- Maintain store environment by tidying and cleaning as necessary
Experience
- Previous retail and/or pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required

Pay: $17.75-$20.00 per hour
