HIGHWAY OWNER OPERATORS REQUIRED

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long or short distances
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as pallet-jacks when necessary
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, logs, and compliance records
- Perform basic repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Coordinate with dispatchers and clients to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid CDL license
- Familiarity with freight handling, including loading/unloading procedures
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Knowledge of repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Prior experience managing freight logistics and documentation is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
