We are seeking a proactive, highly disciplined Inside Sales & Operations Specialist to serve as the front-end quarterback of our daily pipeline. This is an inside sales and account coordination position—there is absolutely no cold-calling or outbound prospecting involved. Instead, you will be handling a consistent, high-volume flow of incoming inquiries.
This role is designed for a self-directed professional who is a master of email management, possesses exceptional phone communication skills, and knows how to confidently close deals. You must possess an uncompromising standard for administrative accuracy—the type of person who ensures every client file, dietary note, and financial invoice layout is completely error-free before hitting send.
The Day-to-Day Logistics: Because we are a sharp, lean small business, this is an active, dual-responsibility role splitting time between office communication and hands-on floor operations. Approximately 20% of your time will be spent directly on the warehouse floor during our peak dispatch windows. This means standing on your feet, manually applying catering labels, verifying delivery slips, checking final box counts against kitchen invoices, and coordinating directly with the culinary team. We operate with a collaborative, "no task too small" mindset where everyone helps out to ensure our quality remains unmatched.
Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales, Email Mastery & Phone Control (80%)
- Inbox & Phone Command: Manage a heavy flow of incoming emails and calls daily with rapid response times and pristine professional etiquette.
- Close the Deal: Build accurate client quotes, confidently close bookings, and maintain an organized tracking system so no inquiry slips through the cracks.
- Zero-Backlog Discipline: Maintain a highly organized, error-free pipeline tracking system. No incoming lead waits for an answer, and no client request falls through the cracks.
Quality Control & Floor Logistics (20%)
- Precision Labeling & Dispatch: Step onto the floor during peak windows to execute the flawless sorting and precise labeling of outgoing catering orders.
- Kitchen Coordination: Serve as the central communication bridge between the front office and the culinary team to ensure guest counts and strict dietary restrictions match perfectly.
