We are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our team! Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of freight.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a propane counterbalance lift for unloading, loading and staging freight
- Prepare freight for shipment
- Track and record freight handled
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating a counterbalance forklift (required)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment (required)
- High school education or equivalent (required)
- English language proficiency (required)
- LTL loading experience is an asset
- Knowledge of shipping documents an asset
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and accuracy of recorded information
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team
- Comply with safety legislation as per the Ontario Health and Safety Act and company policy
Physically Demanding:
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Crouching Bending
- Kneeling often required
- Handling products weighted up to 50lbs
- May be required to work additional hours
Shifts Available:
All Shifts:
Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Afternoon: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Night: 11:00pm-7:30am
