B.K. Two-Way Radio Ltd., a progressive wireless solutions provider has an immediate opening for a full-time Two-Way Radio installer in our Quesnel service shop.
Qualifications for this position include some type of formal electronics training or hands on experience. A valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract is required, as well as a willingness to work at heights and out of town for short periods. Experience in the telecommunications industry would be an asset.
This job can be physically demanding and as a result, candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds. The ability to pass annual drug testing is mandatory. Communication is very important regarding safety, so to be considered for this position, applicants must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, in English.
The right person will be organized and adept at keeping good documentation and paperwork. Tool maintenance and working in a safe, responsible manner is essential. General housekeeping is required.
Responsibilities include; installing, testing and troubleshooting two-way radios and communication equipment, in customer vehicles, at the shop and on varied job sites. As well as assisting customers directly when necessary and completing detailed invoicing through our point of sale system.
General knowledge of 12 volt wiring and measuring tools is required.
