Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff/Servers to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and who possess strong customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff as required
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Provide guest services that promote a positive dining experience and address any concerns professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of mocktail preparation is considered an asset.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not mandatory
