The Canada Games Aquatic Centre (CGAC) is seeking a passionate and reliable Yoga Instructor to join our team. This is a great opportunity to teach in a dynamic, community-focused facility with a diverse and engaged membership base.

- Thursday mornings at 10:30am (priority need)
- Opportunity to add evening classes based on availability and demand
About the Role:
As a Yoga Instructor at CGAC, you will lead safe, inclusive, and engaging classes that support participants of varying skill levels. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment that promotes health, wellness, and connection within our community.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality yoga classes for adults and older adults
- Provide modifications to accommodate different abilities and experience levels
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive class environment
- Ensure participant safety at all times
Qualifications:
- Certified Yoga Instructor (200-hour minimum preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Experience teaching group fitness classes (yoga-focused)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation:
- Starting at $23.13/hour
- An individual membership to the Canada Games Aquatic Centre provided sufficient hours are worked
Conditions of Employment:
- Current acceptable Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector checks
- Must maintain certifications
