Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly
- Assist with light maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, replacing filters, or minor repairs to support overall facility upkeep
- Follow health and safety protocols consistently to ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors
- Use commercial cleaning equipment responsibly and maintain its proper functioning for optimal performance
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to office buildings or retail environments is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Familiarity with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or equipment troubleshooting is a plus
