We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within the bakery, contributing to the production of high-quality gluten-free baked goods and oversee operations.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepping bread, buns, desserts, muffins, cookies, etc.
Overseeing staff to ensure policies and procedures are in line
Decorating cakes and specialty desserts.
Keeping product dates in check
Slicing and packaging products
Scaling and mixing doughs/batters
Dividing and shaping loaves/buns/baguettes
Mixing, proofing, and baking to our specifications
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the equipment used in the baking process
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication and written English skills
Positive attitude
Team player – assist in a positive guest experience however necessary
Must have knowledge of gluten free living
Physical Demands:
Constant standing
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling
Varying temperature conditions; freezer and cooler work
Ability to lift 30+ lbs (frequent lifting of 10+ lbs)
Physically fit and self motivated
Lifting up tp 25lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder and above head
Twisting, turning and reaching
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$19.25 per hour
