Job Description
Labourer is to assist the Operator in the completion of a pile installation project from beginning to end. This position reports directly to the Operator to assure standards of safety and quality are consistently. The job duties include:
- Operate various skidsteers to unload, organize and layout helical screw piles and other tools and materials
- Assist the skid steer operator with the installation of helical screw piles to ensure compliance with pile location
- Care for and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and skid steers
- Participate in ongoing hazard assessments, daily toolbox meetings and complete safety documentation and paperwork as per company policy
- Complete general site housekeeping duties
- Some heavy lifting is required
Requirements
- Experience rigging and changing auger attachments
- Experience strapping down loads and machinery
- Mechanical aptitude
- Class 5 license is an asset
- Standard First Aid is consider an asset
