Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Elderly Caregiver to provide comprehensive in-home care for seniors. Duties
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
- Support with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Engage residents in recreational activities and social interactions to enhance quality of life
- Maintain a safe and clean environment aligned with health standards and safety protocols
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of senior care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and respect for elderly individuals
- Ability to handle medication administration accurately and safely
- Competence in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary restrictions or needs
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility tasks
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with family members and healthcare providers
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties maintaining hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work as a live-in caregiver providing continuous support in a home environment
