Job Overview
This role supports the Director of Asian Seafood by coordinating sales, warehouse operations, and basic accounting tasks. The position is hands-on in the warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, while also handling administrative duties such as order processing and cash application.
The ideal candidate has fresh seafood industry experience and is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
Warehouse & Fulfillment
- Coordinate daily order picking, packing, and shipment preparation
- Prepare and review packing slips and product allocations
- Verify order accuracy before shipment
- Provide directions to warehouse staff and assist hands-on as needed
- Support delivery scheduling and driver run preparation
Sales & Order Support
- Receive and process customer orders
- Prepare packing slips and maintain order documentation
- Ensure communication between sales, warehouse, and customers
Post-Delivery & Accounting Support
- Review invoices and document customer adjustments
- Apply customer payments and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor AR balances and follow up on overdue accounts
Additional Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Asian Sales Director
- Assist across departments as needed to support operations
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fresh seafood (required)
- Experience in food distribution or retail (asset)
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Experience with warehouse operations and willingness to be hands-on
- Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting (AR preferred)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and self-motivate

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
