Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Electromechanical Assembler / Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and finished products according to specifications, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: $21/hr. - $23/hr.
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift:7am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical, electrical, or manufactured components using hand and power tools

Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings

Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer standards

Operate basic manufacturing equipment and production machinery safely

Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or process improvements

Maintain accurate production records and documentation

Follow all workplace safety procedures, policies, and PPE requirements

Support packaging, labeling, and material handling as required

Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily production targets

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S or lean manufacturing practices

What You'll Do:
Qualifications & Requirements

1+ year of experience as an assembler in a manufacturing environment

Ability to assemble mechanical components

Ability to do simple wiring

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments

Basic technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions familiarty

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Comfortable working overtime or shift work when required
