Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle food safely by adhering to sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with cashier duties, including processing payments accurately and giving correct change.
- Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in same company or food restaurant is required.
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
