Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team for regular shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is an early morning position with shifts starting at 5am. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading items, maintaining the vehicle, and following designated routes efficiently. Additional hours up to full time may be available if you have full availability.

- Safely operate a box truck delivery truck
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques while following safe food handling techniques
- Follow assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale and retail customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as necessary during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver with at least 3 years of documented insurance on a commercial vehicle in Canada
- You must be 25 years old or older to meet insurance qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activity throughout the day.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills is essential.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
