Responsibilities

- Implement behavioral health strategies and addiction counseling techniques to assist youth struggling with substance use or mental health issues.
- Collaborate with families, social workers, and community agencies to coordinate care plans aligned with child welfare and workforce development goals.
- Supervise youth activities, ensuring a safe environment that promotes positive behavior and social skills development.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower youth in making healthy choices and setting achievable goals.
- Maintain detailed case records, progress notes, and incident reports in compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.
Skills
- Strong crisis intervention and crisis management skills to handle emergency situations effectively.
- Experience in social work or related fields with supervising or mentoring youth preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to apply motivational interviewing techniques to motivate behavioral change.
