Timber Restoration Services (TRS) is a leader in the timber construction industry, with offices across Canada, the USA, and Australia. We specialize in the construction, repair, and restoration of new and existing timber structures, including bridges, mass timber buildings, commercial and industrial structures, and specialty and historical projects.
We are seeking a Project Estimating & Logistics Coordinator to support project delivery including request for proposal estimating, materials purchasing, equipment procurement, along with scheduling and delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with the project management team to facilitate the successful delivery of timber construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project estimates, quotations, cost summaries, and review of drawings, specifications, and scopes.
- Coordinate project documentation, schedules, procurement, and communication between engineering, estimating, production, logistics, and field teams.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders; obtain vendor pricing, lead times, and availability.
- Track materials, purchase commitments, deliveries, and supplier information.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules with vendors, carriers, production teams, and project managers.
- Track shipments and communicate delays or changes that may affect project schedules.
- Track material and equipment costs, compare to project budgets, and assist with monthly cost reviews.
- Identify cost variances and support cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate project and procurement records.
Who We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of project coordination experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or an industrial environment.
- Experience with estimating, procurement, logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
- Ability to learn project management, estimating, and document management systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
