We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the documentation of medical histories and update patient records using Dentrix software.
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides as directed by the dentist.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide support in orthodontic and pediatric procedures when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience or knowledge in orthodontics and pediatrics is preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Familiarity with dental assisting duties is an advantage.
- Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is beneficial.
