Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist/RMT (Registered Massage Therapist) to join our health centre. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ health concerns and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing acupuncture and massage therapy techniques.
- Perform acupuncture treatments, ensuring proper placement of needles and adherence to safety protocols.
- Deliver therapeutic massage sessions to alleviate pain, improve circulation, and promote relaxation.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies to support ongoing health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure all treatments comply with health regulations, safety standards, and professional guidelines.
- Foster a welcoming and professional environment that encourages client trust and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid registration as an Acupuncturist or Registered Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing body.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to holistic health practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and ensure positive client experiences.
- Prior experience in delivering acupuncture or massage therapy in a clinical or wellness setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
