As a Roofer/Laborer you will assist tradesperson in installing, repairing or replacing flat roofs. Working collaboratively with other tradespeople, you'll find yourself on large commercial and industrial sites working at heights in inclement weather.
Main Duties
Prepare, Repair, and Install:
- load and unload construction material
- remove roofing debris, pile and salvage material
- assist equipment operators with hand signals
- cut, fit and shape roofing material
- assist tradespersons in roofing activities
Requirements
- experience using power and hand tools
- maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols in a safety sensitive environment
- working at heights in inclement weather.
- work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to complete other duties as required.
- valid Drivers License
- communicate in English both verbally and written
- construction experience an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
