A Volunteer Youth Basketball Program Development Team Member is needed for our Non-Profit | Faith-Based Organization to help build and launch our FREE BASKETBALL PROGRAM FOR KIDS AND YOUTH!
Program Development Period: August 2026 – December 2026
Volunteer Commitment: Approximately 2 hours per week, flexible scheduling, primarily remote participation through Zoom meetings and collaborative planning.

Volunteer Opportunity Overview
CCRA is currently seeking passionate volunteers to help us develop and launch a FREE Youth Basketball Program that will serve children and youth within our community.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy program planning, youth development, sports administration, coaching, community outreach, and leadership.
Volunteers will help create a program that focuses on:

Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Planning
Volunteers will assist in developing the structure, goals, and vision for the basketball program. This may include helping determine age divisions, program formats, schedules, curriculum ideas, and participant experiences.
Facility Research & Community Partnerships
Volunteers will help identify potential gymnasiums, schools, churches, community centers, and underutilized basketball facilities that may be suitable for future programming.
Volunteers will help shape age-appropriate basketball programming for children and youth, including skill development clinics, recreational play opportunities, mentorship initiatives, and community engagement activities.
Volunteers may assist with community outreach efforts, participant recruitment strategies, partnership development, and helping spread awareness about the program.
Volunteers may help identify future coaches, mentors, referees, and community leaders who can contribute to the success of the basketball initiative.
Faith-Based Leadership:
As a faith-based organization, CCRA seeks to create environments where participants can grow physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Volunteers should be comfortable supporting Christian values and helping foster a welcoming, encouraging, and faith-centered atmosphere.
