As a Methods and Programming Technician, you will play a key role in the industrialization of machined components and in optimizing manufacturing processes. You will act as a link between Engineering, Methods, and Production teams to ensure efficient industrialization and compliance with specifications. You will be involved in the industrialization of new products, modifications to existing products, and the introduction of new processes and/or equipment.
Summary of Responsibilities
Production Support and Technical Development

Create and update CNC programs for machined parts (2‑axis CNC lathes, 3‑ and 5‑axis CNC milling machines).

Create operation sequences, tools, and other required items for machining within the ERP system.

Define or recommend cutting parameters based on required tolerances and equipment capabilities.

Support designers and engineers in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
-
Support the introduction of new manufacturing equipment.
-
Support the manufacturing/modification of parts using conventional lathes and milling machines.
-
Prepare machining‑related work instructions when part complexity requires it.

Design and/or update fixtures, tooling, and inspection devices required for manufacturing.

Provide technical support to Operations to resolve machining‑related issues.

Be called upon to support the evening Operations team.
Optimization and Continuous Improvement
-
Participate in the standardization of tools, documents, and work practices.

Prepare manufacturing cost, labor, and time estimates.

Participate in non‑conformance analysis and problem resolution.

Propose and implement improvements targeting quality, productivity, ergonomics, or safety.

Adapt methods to the technical requirements of the parent company and/or local and international partners.
