The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) is a not-for-profit organization that supports the city’s 163 Community Leagues. Our mission is to engage, develop and connect Edmonton Community Leagues as they build healthy neighbourhoods.
Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant assists the public with general inquiries and membership sales. They provide administrative support to ensure an effective and efficient work environment. This position also maintains the EFCL’s equipment rental program. The Administrative Assistant also provides administrative support to staff members. The Administrative Assistant works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization, and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned. This is a part-time position, three days per week, typically Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 830 to 430.
Duties and responsibilities
Reception
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and support League members and the general public

Record and report calls and trends

Provide excellent customer service to League members and the public
Administration
- Maintain administration filing system

Provide administrative support to EFCL staff

Other administration duties as required
Membership
Provide support to the public on membership purchases-
Reconcile monthly membership dues

Manage the membership supply ordering process

Act as a liaison with partner organizations who sell memberships
Operations Support.

Manage EFCL mail outs and pickups

Maintain the list of up-to-date Community League executives/Board members

Administrative and logistical support for EFCL general, board and district meetings
Equipment Rental

Plan, organize and coordinate the equipment rental program

Manage the administrative portal for the equipment rental program
Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of two years of experience working in office administration, customer service, and rental or sales roles

Excellent organizational skills

Strong oral and written communications skills

Proficiency with Google Suite

Experience with data entry and data management

Experience working with Community Leagues
