Ontario Livestock / Farming Operation has an opening for an experienced, disciplined, hard working General Farm Worker. Located at our Schomberg farm, the position involves farm equipment operation, livestock handling and general nutrition. Competency operating skid steer, loader tractor and experience feeding in a TMR mixer environment, and hands on working with livestock are minimum requirements for this position.
Preference will be given to applicants who are disciplined, self motivated, and experienced with day to day skills acquired in a dairy, swine, poultry or sheep environment. Written and spoken English necessary.
This is a full time position, 50 hour week, five days per week with some weekend work. Minimum compensation based on experience level $65 - $70K per year base plus selective overtime and vehicle allowance. The prospective candidate should earn up to $80K. with this position. A reliable vehicle is a necessity.
