Boralex has been providing renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operatesrenewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage.
- You will play an important role in:
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety laws and regulations;
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as on-site interventions, aligned with production optimization;
- Participating in and executing work on the collector network and maintaining the substation;
- Accompanying and guiding vendors and contractors on-site;
- Participating in troubleshooting, as well as proposing and implementing creative solutions;
- Handling all other related tasks, such as building, access road, or grounds maintenance.
- To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A vocational diploma (DEP) or college diploma (DEC) in an electrical field, or equivalent training;
- Three to five years of relevant experience;
- Fluency in French (both spoken and written);
- Functional business English (an asset);
- The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces;
- Knowledge of and experience with medium- and high-voltage installations;
- Knowledge of instrumentation and controls (an asset);
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite;
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, leadership, and adaptability.
