Looking for an exciting role in the Tourism Industry? Valley Visitor Services is currently looking for seasonal Roaming Visitor Services staff to join our team.

Locations: Radium Hot Springs and Columbia Valley
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Knowledge of attractions, events, tourism products/services
- Team player who is able to work independently
- Outgoing, friendly and welcoming
- Class five drivers license required
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver visitor services both within the Visitor Centre and through roaming outreach
- Provide a welcoming first point of contact for visitors to the Columbia Valley
- Share accurate, up-to-date information about local attractions, accommodations, transportation, and events
- Assist visitors with itinerary planning and travel recommendations
- Promote tourism products, services, and events throughout the Columbia Valley
- Provide current travel information, including road conditions, weather, and travel advisories
- Collect and record visitor statistics
- Maintain brochure racks and ensure materials are well stocked and organized
- Assist with reviewing and updating visitor materials as needed
- Follow Visitor Services Operating Procedures
- Support additional tourism and administrative tasks as assigned
On-site training as well as Destination BC Visitor Services training will be provided.
Various seasonal positions starting in June. Start and end dates may change based on the needs of the business.
Candidate must meet requirements of Canada Summer Jobs.
Currently hiring for full-time seasonal.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
