Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks across our construction, manufacturing, or maintenance sites. Your proactive attitude and strong work ethic will help ensure smooth project flow, safety, and efficiency. Duties
- Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies accurately and efficiently
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and passing tools or materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning tools, disposing of waste, and organizing supplies
- Aid in the transportation of materials around the site using manual or powered equipment when trained and certified
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors
Experience
- Prior experience in general labour, construction, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
- Knowledge of basic safety standards and practices is an asset
