Cook — Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar, Kanata
About the role We're hiring a reliable cook to join the kitchen team at Bâton Rouge Kanata. You'll run a station on the line, cook to spec, hold the bar on quality, and pull your weight during service.
Responsibilities
- Prep and cook menu items to Bâton Rouge standards and recipe specs
- Run your station efficiently during service — grill, sauté, broil, or garde manger
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols
- Receive, store, and rotate product correctly (FIFO)
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house
- Support prep, opens, closes, and deep cleaning as scheduled
What we're looking for
- Previous line cook or full-service kitchen experience preferred
- Solid knife skills and comfort with high-volume service
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain one)
- Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and works well under pressure
- Good attitude — we cook hard, we don't do drama
