Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Automobile Mechanic to join our team. This is a very healthy work environment where you will respected and valued. We believe in work/life balance and time spent with loved ones. There will be no evening or weekend work. Your schedule will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. You will be paid ALL holidays, not just statutory holidays. That is 12 paid holidays rather than only 6. There will also be addition paid time off during Christmas Holidays to spend with your family.
The ideal candidate will have their Red Seal Certification with at least 3 years experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves performing complex repairs, troubleshooting vehicle issues, and ensuring all work meets industry standards. The successful applicant will demonstrate mechanical expertise, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics and assembly instructions. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using advanced mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, suspension repairs, and fluid replacements
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or custom modifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently to complete repairs accurately
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks
- Assist in vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines with the skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally
- Coachable and open to learning
- Owns personal tools (quality shop tools provided)
- Punctual
- MUST HAVE A CLEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND AND DRIVING ABSTRACT
Pay: From $31.00 per hour
