Olive Tree Builds is hiring a Commercial Construction Labourer to support our commercial fit-outs, renovations, tenant improvements, and active construction projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
This is not a "show up, kill time, and collect a paycheck" type of job.

What You'll Be Responsible For
As a Commercial Construction Labourer, you'll assist with a variety of commercial construction activities, including:
General Construction
- Assisting with commercial renovations and tenant improvements
- Site preparation before work begins
- Selective demolition
- Material handling and transportation
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Supporting carpenters and skilled trades
- Basic framing assistance
- General site support
Site Organization
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Protecting existing finishes, fixtures, and client property
- Organizing and properly storing tools, equipment, and materials
- Assisting with deliveries and site logistics
- Cleaning work areas throughout the day—not just at the end of it
Safety & Professionalism
- Following all company safety procedures
- Wearing required PPE at all times
- Reporting unsafe conditions immediately
- Reporting damaged tools or equipment
- Following direction from the Site Lead or Project Manager
- Representing Olive Tree Builds professionally on every project
- Helping keep projects moving instead of slowing them down

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or renovation experience
- Comfortable using common hand tools and basic power tools
- Able to safely lift and move construction materials
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the GTA
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Required PPE
Applicants should already have, or be willing to obtain:
- CSA-approved safety boots
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- Work gloves
Bonus Experience
