About Us
Juju’s Doghouse is a brand-new dog daycare and boarding facility built on one simple idea: every dog deserves to feel like they’re spending the day at their favourite aunt’s house.
Created by the team behind Juju Grooms, we’ve spent the last six years caring for thousands of pets throughout Toronto. Now we’re expanding our family with a space dedicated to daycare, boarding, enrichment, and creating a true home away from home.
We’re looking for compassionate, energetic dog lovers who understand that caring for dogs is so much more than supervising play—it means building trust, recognizing body language, preventing conflicts before they happen, and making every dog feel safe.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise group play while ensuring a safe and positive environment
- Monitor dog behaviour and body language to prevent issues before they arise
- Facilitate structured play, enrichment activities, scent games, and mental stimulation
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized facility throughout the day
- Feed dogs and administer medications as instructed
- Escort dogs safely throughout the facility
- Complete daily health and behaviour observations
- Communicate updates to management regarding any concerns
- Help create a calm, welcoming environment for both dogs and their owners
- Assist with boarding care, including evening and morning routines when scheduled
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Truly loves dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities
Is calm, patient, and confident in a fast-paced environment
Has strong observational skills and excellent judgment
Can comfortably handle large and energetic dogs
Works well independently and as part of a team
Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Is physically capable of standing, walking, lifting (up to approximately 50 lbs), and being active throughout an entire shift
Is available to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts
Experience
Previous experience in any of the following is considered an asset:
Dog daycare
Boarding facilities
Veterinary clinics
Animal shelters or rescues
Pet grooming
Dog walking
Animal behaviour or training
Experience is appreciated—but attitude, compassion, and a willingness to learn are even more important.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
