Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard / Farm Hand to assist with in-town agricultural and maintenance tasks. This role involves hands-on work in maintaining farm grounds, operating light machinery, and supporting various farm-related activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, practical skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.
Duties
- Perform general yard and farm building maintenance, including pressure washing, mowing, trimming, and light landscaping.
- Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, maintenance and other farm projects
- Conduct heavy lifting of supplies, and related equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment operation is preferred
- Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and light equipment operation is beneficial
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping are necessary
- Prior experience working on a farm or in outdoor maintenance roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided as needed
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of outdoor work

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
