Job Summary
Antylia is seeking a talented and dedicated CDP (Chef de Partie) to join our crew. The CDP Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced food industry professionals to showcase their culinary skills and contribute to a dynamic kitchen team.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Serve dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
- Interact with guests on a regular basis, at Antylia, chefs drop food, clear plates. welcome guests, etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, serving, and food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Previous experience in fine dining, or at least the attitude to learn.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required

- Has experience or at least a keen interest in Latin American food
- Has experience in fine dining
- Keeps their knives sharp
- Can talk to guests
- Has a sense of urgency only matched by their sense of initiative
