Job Description:
Frost Building Systems is an industry leader in the supply and installation of Insulated Metal Panels and metal cladding. We are looking to hire a driven Installation Coordinator to handle the day-to-day operations of our active job sites.
Responsible for overseeing execution of Frost projects from the time that material is delivered to site through to project closeout. This role is fast paced, a strong sense of urgency and the ability to problem solve are a must. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, ensuring materials and equipment are ordered, subcontractors are moving efficiently, and project deadlines are met safely.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including ordering and receiving equipment and project materials.
- Oversee your team in contacting, scheduling and coordinating all subcontractors and deliveries across multiple job sites.
- Monitor and communicate with customer site teams on scheduling updates and site progress.
- Review shop drawings for installation considerations and assist in the design Frost building assemblies.
- Maintain a safe job site and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.
- Ensure all new workers receive a workplace specific Health and Safety Orientation.
- Ensures employees have the necessary training to perform their work and report workplace hazards/injuries.
- Assess project risks and issues on-site and provide immediate, practical solutions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of building envelope design and construction.
- Experience installing insulated metal panels and metal cladding assemblies preferred.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and various trade shop drawings.
- Current knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety Act, along with relevant safe work practices and procedures.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage crew and subcontractors.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily to regional job sites.
