The Project Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspect of an AV installation project including all financial aspect, the material, labor and transportation needs for the smooth running of projects. They are responsible for the completion of the projects within the time and budget allotted.
Your day will look like this:

In collaboration with the Sales and Design team, assist in the development of the scope of the project as needed.

Develop and manage the different phases of the project(s), Kick off- planning- execution of deliverables, closing and documentation.

Creating budgets, controlling cost and change orders

Participate in kick off meetings, recurring project meetings, and post-mortem.
-
Organize meetings with internal teams and clients as needed throughout project development and execution.

Ensure the integration and synchronization of the various teams involved.

Collaborate with the Design and Engineering team through the installation and commissioning phases of the project.

Provide reporting throughout the project including schedule of values, daily project updates, change orders, and project revisions.

Act as a liaison, and maintain communication, with clients, general contractors (including sub-contractors), architects, and internal team.

Maintain project database(s)

Ensure that the required quality standards as stipulated in the contract documents are applied.

Obtain all required permits and approvals of organizations for the implementation of projects.

Ensure the health and safety on sites through training, prevention, and compliance.

Maintain communication and project updates with Solotech management.

Review RFPs and legal documents provided by the project Owner.
Your profile:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
College degree in project management or business administration a plus!
- Minimum 5 years experience of project management (audio / video / lighting)
-
Ability to be flexible and effectively juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, even during high-stress periods and tight deadlines.

Proficiency in building and understanding budgets, including financial forecasting and analysis
-
High proficiency in communication skills, including crafting professional emails and engaging in effective business communication

PMP certification (an asset)
-
CTS Certification (an asset)
-
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and lead projects.

Ability to manage construction calendars and budget.
-
Basic knowledge of audio, lighting, video
-
Expertise on construction sites (Health & Safety meetings, inspections, OHS prevention, etc.)

Knowledge of project management software tools and process
-
Working knowledge of SalesForce & Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook.
Work Requirements:

Time will be spent on construction sites.

Flexible work hours to support operations. Typical workweeks standard 40 hours.

Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation for regular on-site client visits, as required.

Solotech provides a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position in accordance with Ontario pay transparency requirements. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, location, experience, training, certifications, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined at the time of hire. A reasonable estimate of the current annual wage range is $84,000 - $124,000.
