Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team on a full-time, starting June or July 2026 . The ideal candidate will support the dental team by preparing patients, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic operation. Experience with dental software Cleardent, along with knowledge of orthodontics, will be highly valued. 1 year experience required. Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using Cleardent software systems
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and medical terminology requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics preferred
- Proficiency with dental management software Cleardent
- Knowledge of CAD imaging techniques for dental procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Experience working as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
