Work Location: Highland Valley Copper – Mine Life Extension (MLE), Logan Lake, BC.
Schedule: Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday, to be discussed.
Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 per year, based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead civil construction and mining projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards while coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams. Strong leadership, project management expertise, and experience in civil construction and/or mining are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of civil construction and mining projects.
- Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage contracts, change orders, procurement activities, and project documentation.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in project delivery.
What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Civil Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil construction and/or mining environments (required).
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and project teams.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of civil construction and mining project execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with contract administration and procurement processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, MS Project and P6 Primavera.
