We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a Manual Lathe and CNC Lathe ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in manufacturing processes to contribute to our production operations.
Duties
- Operate Manual milling machines, Manual Lathe and CNC lathes, manufacturing equipment with precision.
- Program and troubleshoot CNC machinery using Fagor controls and CNC programming skills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Set up and calibrate machines using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to ensure specifications are met.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
- Utilize forklifts for material handling within the warehouse or production area.
- Assist in assembly, packaging, and warehousing tasks to support overall production flow.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proficiency with Fagor CNC controls, CNC programming, and CNC milling machines.
- Familiar with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Draftsight.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, welding, and machining techniques.
- Ability to operate , CNC lathes, CNC mills, and related equipment effectively.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and the use of calipers and other measurement tools.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus.
- Competence with hand tools, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, machining, packaging, and general assembly is desirable. This position is ideal for individuals committed to precision manufacturing with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
