Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile <PERSON> to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in carpentry and general construction. This role involves working on diverse projects such as restoration, drywall, painting, framing, cabinet installation and more. The <PERSON> will be responsible for executing detailed tasks with precision using various tools and techniques, contributing to high-quality project completion. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Install cabinets, drywall, framing and other building components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, carpentry, woodworking, caulking, and finishing work
- Execute restoration projects including surface repairs and refinishing
- Measure and cut materials accurately to specifications
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required; maintain a clean and organized worksite
Experience
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry or general contracting
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of building codes, safety procedures, and industry best practices in restoration
- Prior handyman experience or multi-trade skills highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team environment
