VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Property Maintenance & Grounds Technician to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring our facilities, grounds, and outdoor spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and appearance. The successful candidate will take pride in creating and preserving a professional environment through landscaping, lawn care, seasonal maintenance, and general property upkeep. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking person who enjoys working outdoors, values attention to detail, and takes satisfaction in keeping properties looking their absolute best year-round.
What You'll Do
- Maintain company grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and professional appearance
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
- Plant, water, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flower beds, and landscaped areas
- Keep parking lots, walkways, entrances, and outdoor spaces clean and presentable
- Perform seasonal property maintenance, including leaf removal and snow clearing
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery safely
- Monitor grounds and outdoor facilities for maintenance needs and report issues promptly
- Assist with minor exterior repairs and general property upkeep as required
- Support facility improvement projects and special property enhancement initiatives
- Follow all company health and safety procedures while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
What You Bring
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, property maintenance, or a related field
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscaping techniques, and outdoor property maintenance
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining attractive outdoor spaces
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
- Dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated
- Physically capable of performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset
